PM Mikati says fruitful meeting held with President Aoun
Prime Minister Najib Mikati met on Wednesday with President Michel Aoun, whereby he informed him that the general budget for 2022 is ready and will be received within the next two days, adding that “as soon as it is received, the Council of Ministers will be called to convene.”
 
Following the meeting, Mikati confirmed that “the meeting was fruitful, and it was agreed to open an extraordinary session of Parliament.”
