UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon tours Lebanese officials

Prime Minister Najib Mikati received on Wednesday United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon and Humanitarian Coordinator Najat Rushdi in his office at the Grand Serail.

Discussions focused on the general situation in Lebanon and ways to support the Lebanese people at this stage.

Rushdi then met with President Michel Aoun at the Baabda presidential Palace where she stressed that it is important for President Aoun to support the basic services for the Lebanese people, including the health and education sectors, in addition to energy and efforts to revive the private sector.
