Nahas heads meeting to discuss wage raise

Labor Minister Charbel Nahas chaired a session for the sub-committee affiliated to the price index committee to examine the possibility of raising the minimum wage.

The session was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Labor, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Beirut Traders Association and the Central Administration for Statistics.

The committee will convene for another meeting Friday afternoon.
