Prisoners at Roumieh penitentiary protest their treatment

On Friday night, prisoners at Roumieh prison gathered at the ground floor and managed breaking the doors in protest of some issues related to the ways they are being treated.

A unit from the prison's security worked on containing the situation and returned prisoners to their cells.

Damaged doors are being repaired today, and involved prisoners will be referred to the judicial authorities.
