Lebanese First Lady Wafaa Sleiman lit on Monday 2 Christmas trees; one in the lobby of the presidential palace and the other in the outer courtyard.
The event took place under the presence of children from the Lebanese School of Blind and Deaf, the Children's Cancer Center, and the Lebanese Association of SOS Children's Villages.
In this context, the main entrance of the palace was lit with special Christmas lights.
During the event, children from the Lebanese School of Blind and Deaf chanted Christmas hymns and the First Lady presented gifts to all participating children.
At the end of the evening, the First Lady hoped that the Christmas spirit would spread in Lebanon and in the whole region so peace prevails among nations and people.
