Tourism Minister: Pope did not cancel his visit to Lebanon

Tourism Minister Walid Nassar denied on Monday that Pope Francis' visit to Lebanon had been cancelled.

Nassar said: "The date of the visit may be postponed for health reasons only, pending the receipt of official news from the Vatican in the next two days."

In an interview with the Central News Agency, he stressed that "the postponement of the visit, if it occurs, will not be for a long time, and the preparations will be completed normally."
