Geagea: We are orphans with no land or dignity

The head to the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea said that the government is incompetent and unable to react to the breaches of the Syrian Army along the northern borders, “as if the Lebanese are now orphans on a land with no borders or sovereignty or dignity”.

Geagea considered that this lack of response is in deference to one of the political parties who are constantly defending the country against any minor Israeli breach and should react the same way towards any foreign intrusion.

Asked about the administrative appointments, Geagea expressed his disappointment that “someone has been won appointment in a high position as a reward for a previous political stance and I believe that the situation has become unbearable”.
