Bou habib meets his Iranian counterpart

Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdallah Bou Habib met on Tuesday his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian, during his participation in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

For his part, the Iranian Minister reiterated Iran's willingness to supply Lebanon with oil as well as to help it overcome the problems that it is facing.

According to information obtained, Iran informed the Lebanese delegation in Tehran of its agreement to supply Lebanon with 600,000 tons of fuel over a period of 5 months, as Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani tweeted that there is good news that will soon be announced about what It was agreed upon regarding Iranian fuel between the delegation of the Lebanese Energy Ministry and the relevant officials in Iran.
