Hamadeh: Solution lies within the formation of a neutral government

MP Marwan Hamadeh expressed hope on Wednesday regarding the closed deputies’ meeting set for discussing the electoral law, saying that the opposition would not return to the political scene should an acceptable law not be found.

Speaking to Voice of Lebanon (Freedom and Dignity) radio station, Hamadeh said that there are three preconditions before the bloc can return to dialogue; the formation of a neutral government capable of pulling the country out of the economic, security and political crises; the adherence of all parties to the Baabda declaration and the commitment of all political factions, especially Hezbollah to the country’s security by not breaking the principles of the aforementioned declaration.
