General Prosecutor to launch investigations into suspicious livestock batch

Lebanon's Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi commissioned the Central Criminal Investigation Department to launch investigations concerning reports published by local TV station claiming that a number of livestock that are not up to the standard of health codes entered Lebanon via Beirut Port.

Separately, Madi is expected to visit the Roumieh prison and the cell in which the prosecutions of those involved in Nahr el-Bared case will be held.
