AFP journalists hear blasts in Kabul, see air defence fire

AFP journalists in Kabul heard multiple explosions and gunfire in the Afghan capital on Sunday evening, and saw air defence systems firing into the sky.

Afghanistan's defence ministry spokesman said "air defence strikes were carried out against Pakistani aircraft in Kabul," writing on X.
