Public Prosecutor Judge pays inspection visit to Roumieh Prison

Public Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi, Military Prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr and Mount Lebanon Prosecutor Claude Karam paid a visit to the Roumieh Prison to inspect the court room inside the jail, designed to accelerate the prosecution of several inmates who remain imprisoned without receiving their sentences.

The court room was inaugurated 2 months ago but it's still not ready to host prosecutions.

In this context, Madi stated that the postponement of the prosecutions is related to the delay in finalizing the court room.
