Mikati arrives in Doha to attend FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati arrived on Saturday in Doha, in response to an official invitation to attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The Lebanese delegation includes Caretaker Minister of Youth and Sports George Kallas and Caretaker Tourism Minister Walid Nassar.

Upon his arrival at Hamad International Airport, Mikati and the Lebanese delegation were received by the Qatari Minister of State Sheikh Fahd bin Faisal Al Thani and head of Lebanese Mission to the State of Qatar Farah Berri.
