MP Jumblatt welcomes Berri's call for dialogue

Head of the Democratic Gathering bloc MP Taymour Jumblatt reiterated on Saturday that only dialogue can break the deadlock and lead the nation out of its predicament. He drew attention to the Democratic Gathering and the Progressive Socialist Party's efforts in this area.

 

Jumblatt also applauded Speaker Nabih Berri's call for dialogue.

 

In a statement, he noted that they have always supported accelerating the dialogue, emphasizing that after a deadlock and obstruction in the presidential elections, it is necessary to choose a candidate who can implement the constitution, uphold the Taif Agreement, and face upcoming challenges with a clear reform agenda.
