On the occasion of Armed Forces Day, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said that the sectarian tensions in the region are affecting his country, urging politicians to reject any international intervention and to solve the internal issue through dialogue.

Maliki added that the salvation of Iraq is conditioned by isolating the country from the religious movements spreading in the region.
