MP Fares to LBCI: Orthodox gathering electoral draft is sectarian

Syrian Social Nationalist Party MP Marwan Fares said on Tuesday that his party supports the concept of the "one electoral district" throughout Lebanon and called for lowering the voting age to 18.

MP Fares said to LBCI during Nharkom Said that the Lebanon's interest is elaborated by the cancellation of political sectarianism and mentioned that the party will vote for the draft law presented by the cabinet.

"The cabinet's draft law is better than the Orthodox gathering electoral draft," he said.
