Sleiman in Russia, Mikati to head to Riyadh on Sunday

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman headed on Saturday to Russia for a visit that will last until Wednesday.

The President is expected to visit today Saint Petersburg city in Russia and meet on Sunday with His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia as well as the head of the State Duma's Constitutional Committee Vladimir Pligin and PM Dimitry Medvedev.

Sleiman will be meeting on Wednesday with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Najib Mikati will be heading on Sunday to Riyadh to participate in the third Arab Economic Summit in Saudi Arabia.

Mikati will be accompanied by the Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi, Economy Minister Nicolas Nahhas, Industry Minister Vrej Sabounjian, and number of economic advisors as well as Foreign Affairs Minister Adnan Mansour who will be meeting them in Riyadh.
