European Council president: Russia is the only winner so far in the Middle East war

European Council President António Costa said on Tuesday that Russia is the only winner so far in the Middle East war, as energy prices surge and attention to the war in Ukraine declines.

Speaking before EU ambassadors in Brussels, Costa stated: "There is only one winner in this war so far, and it is Russia."
