Bassil: No electricity in Lebanon
The Minister of Energy Gebran Bassil said that the government is required to put more efforts in order to solve all pending issues in an appropriate way unlike what happened with the wage adjustment question.

Bassil in a press conference told the reporters that Lebanon will not have proper electricity supply without the achievement of the Mansourieh High Voltage power lines project, calling on the government to take its responsibilities in this regard.

Bassil pointed out that the power lines in Mansourieh are not there for no purpose and proposed that electricity lines would be installed underground not only in Mansourieh but everywhere else.

Asked about the offshore resources extraction Bassil said that Lebanon will benefit from all these resources in the right time.
