Minister Hamieh: For the first time since 2020, the maritime activity at the Beirut Port is highly active

The caretaker Public Works and Transportation Minister, Ali Hamieh, announced in a statement that "for the first time since 2020, the maritime activity at the Beirut Port is highly active with smooth and standard handling procedures."  

"Three giant ships docked at Quay No. 16 simultaneously, loaded with approximately 8,000 containers, all of which are expected to be handled within just 30 hours," he added.
