Aoun: We fought and died against external forces

The head of the Free Patriotic Movement General Michel Aoun said that the FPM fought to preserve freedom and independence of Lebanon as it distanced itself from the internal political conflicts.

In a speech at the Conference Palace in Dbaye in remembrance of October 13th ceremony Aoun said “Our army martyrs fought against external forces only, some parties tried to involve us in the internal conflicts and we refused”.

“We are still erasing the scars of the war we should rebuild the state and its institutions to erase the psychological ones”.

Aoun stressed on the widespread corruption in the Lebanese institutions calling on all concerned authorities to impose the rule of law for better services.
