Bassil: Lebanon is committed to peace, presidential election is urgent

From Ain al-Tineh, Gebran Bassil emphasized the country's commitment to peace, stating that no party could force Lebanon into a war unless it were imposed.

He stressed Lebanon's duty to stand with the Palestinian people during the ongoing war. He predicted a prolonged war in the region and called for speeding up the election of a new president for the republic, stressing the urgency of the political situation.
