REPORT: Charbel reports the death of "Abou Ibrahim"

Turkish authorities informed on Friday the Lebanese Interior Minister Marwan Charbel that the kidnapper of the 9 Lebanese detainees in Syria's Aazaz, Abou Ibrahim, died.

Minister Charbel, who chaired the Ministerial Committee tasked with following up the file of the detainees, told LBCI that issues are now on the right track and added that there is tangible progress in this file, and added that each of Turkey and Qatar are playing a major role in this issue.

As for the Arsal incident, Minister Charbel refused forming an investigation committee and added that the military judiciary is to take such a decision in light of the information that the Lebanese army has regarding this issue.
