Israeli forces carry out construction works in the area of the Wazzani River

Israeli construction works began on Monday morning at the Eastern side of the Wazzani River, an area considered by the UNIFIL inside the Blue Line’s demarcation border.

Two bulldozers, armed vehicles, and more than 25 Israeli members crossed the barbed wire for a distance of 10 to 25 meters and began opening a road behind the fence as part of their constructive work.

It is worth noting that LAF members kept a close eye on the Israeli work and UNIFIL forces carried out patrols and sought to resolve the matter to prevent a deterioration of the situation in the area.
