REPORT: Minister Charbel: Voting reached 60% in some towns
 
Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel said that the mayoral and municipal sub-elections were a civilized sample of how the coming parliamentary elections will be held, congratulating the citizens for their national spirit.            

During a press conference held on Monday, Minister Charbel thanked the LAF and the security apparatuses that contributed in maintaining security and added that voting reached 60% in some towns.                            

As for the results of the mayoral and municipal sub-elections, Minister Charbel said that they are posted on the official website of the Interior Ministry.
                      
In regards to the parliamentary elections, Minister Charbel said that parties should agree on a consensual electoral law.                 

“The 1960’s electoral law is rejected by most parties,” Minister Charbel said.
