-Syrian opposition release 21 captured UN peacekeepers, who crossed into Jordan, and 48 Iranian hostages; while Syrian regime released around 2000 Syrian opposition detainees.

-Lebanese hostages’ fate in Syria and in Nigeria remain unknown, especially when Nigeria Islamist group said it has executed 7 foreign hostages
