President Sleiman calls for the implementation of 1701

President Michel Sleiman stressed that Lebanon will always strengthen the inalterable bilateral ties with Cote d’Ivoire on the regional and international level in order to address extremism, intolerance and terrorism.

In addition, President Sleiman said that Lebanon will be adamant on supporting the international community in order to guarantee the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and to restore the total sovereignty.

In this regard, Sleiman said that Middle-East problem and the Palestinian cause are a precondition to enhance democracy and moderation in the region.
