Israel's military says it struck 'thousands' of rocket launchers in Lebanon

Israel's military said Saturday that its air force struck thousands of rocket launchers in southern Lebanon that posed an "immediate" threat, amid growing fears of an all-out war with the Lebanese group Hezbollah.

Israeli aircraft "struck thousands of launcher barrels ready for immediate use to fire toward Israeli territory," along with "approximately 180" other unspecified targets, according to a military statement.
