Army Command denies evacuation of positions on Eastern border

The Lebanese Army - Orientation Directorate issued on Saturday a communiqué in which it denied circulated news about Lebanese Army units evacuating some positions on the Eastern borders, from Al-Qaa far-reaching Qousaia.

The communiqué assured that the Army is carrying out its normal duties pertaining to security and stability control and citizens' protection on the Lebanese-Syrian border.

It added that Army units have been recently reinforced in this region.

In this context, the Army urged all media outlets to maintain objectivity and utmost diligence when reporting news related to the Army, especially in light of current circumstances prevailing in the country.
