Lebanese Army raids Masharih Al-Qaa region, arrests 10 Syrians

The Lebanese Army carried out on Thursday raids in the locality of Masharih Al-Qaa near to the Lebanese Syrian border in search of weapons and wanted suspects.

The National News Agency noted that the raid comes after several smuggling operations took place along the border between Lebanon and Syria.

Ten Syrians were arrested with illegal weapons in their possession seized.

At least three people have been killed since October and several have been wounded when Syrian troops, opened fire on border villages.Lebanon and Syria share a 330-kilometer border but have yet to agree on official demarcation.
