Cardinal Rai holds meeting with Christian leaders in Bkerke

A Christian meeting presided by Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rai kicked off at Bkerke in the presence of Kataeb leader Amin Gemayel, Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun, El Marada Movement leader MP Sleiman Frangieh and MP Boutros Harb.

In addition, Deputy Lebanese Forces leader George Adwan represented the Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea who did not attend the meeting for security reasons.

During the meeting, it has been agreed to continue discussions according to the ideas exposed in Rome, while the conferees expressed their openness toward any formula that can reach convergence of views.
