Mayor of Al-Mari in South Lebanon denies reports of evacuations

The mayor of Al-Mari in South Lebanon, Youssef Fayad, affirmed that the town's residents remain steadfast in their homes and on their lands.  

Speaking to LBCI, Fayad denied reports suggesting an evacuation movement or warnings to vacate the area. 

He described such claims as misleading and reaffirmed the residents' commitment to staying in their community.
