Diab: Dialogue led to concrete results

Following his meeting with a delegation from the Association of Full-Time Professors, Education Minister Hassan Diab said that the dialogue session held with the association led to concrete results.

“Reforms should be given priority”, Diab said, “What is true for reforms, also applies to the establishment of the university’s council, the new payroll and the new law.”

The Head of the delegation Charbel Kfouri urged the minister to make a final decision and convince the cabinet of the importance of granting professors their rights.

“The payroll proposal submitted by Diab to the cabinet included numbers higher than those asked for by professors”, Kfouri added.
