REPORT: Lebanese youth run for parliamentary elections

A number of youth headed on Saturday toward the Interior Ministry and presented their candidatures for the upcoming parliamentary elections in a bid to "change the parliamentary blocs and MPs who have always been elected".

In this context, they stressed that all the Lebanese deputies have failed to settle the pending problems in the country, noting that it is high time for young and independent people to run for the parliamentary elections.

This report will shed light on the need to involve the Lebanese youth in the political life and to pave the way for new officials to voice their independent standpoints.
