Charbel sets deadline for submitting candidature applications for April 17

Caretaker Marwan Charbel issued on Monday a circular concerning the deadlines for submitting the candidature applications for the upcoming parliamentary elections whereby he clarified that the deadline for submitting or withdrawing the applications in all electoral districts ends on April 17.

"Should the deadline expire with no candidate presenting his candidature for a seat, the deadline shall be extended for seven days, until April 24th," Charbel said.

In this context, the circular also pointed out that the deadline for the withdrawal of candidacies ends on May 2nd.
