MP Ibrahim Kanaan: Municipal revenues to be distributed next week

MP Ibrahim Kanaan asserted on Thursday that the distribution of the municipal revenues from the Independent Municipal Fund will begin as of next week.

MP Kannan said that a schedule has been placed to distribute $ 200 million USD to relevant municipalities.

MP Kanaan's announcement came following the Finance and Budget Committee meeting held at parliament, whereby he noted that wasted funds were transferred to the Ministry of Finance providing the monetary finance to the concerned municipalities.
