Judicial council follows up the Ain Alak incident

The judicial council held a session on Friday under the chairmanship of Judge Anthony Issa al-Khoury in the presence of the Judicial Council's member Judge Sami Mansour, the Chief of the Cassation Court Judge Joseph Samaha along with Judges Borkan Saad and Nahida Khadaj.

The judicial council followed up on the cases of the arrested suspects charged with compromising the country's internal security in the Ain Alak incident.

It is worth noting that another session was scheduled for the 24th of May to further examine the file.

On Tuesday February 13, 2007, bombs exploded on two commuter buses in Ain Alak, near Bekfaya in Lebanon's Northern Metn, killing three people and injuring many others.
