Zahra: Dangerous cooperation between Lebanese authorities and Syrian regime

Lebanese Forces MP Antoine Zahra said that the repeated abductions of Syrian opposition figures prove that Lebanon is cooperating with the Syrian regime, which is “a very dangerous sign”.

Brothers Yassine and Mustafa Sahn along with their friend Issa Saleh (Syrian nationals) were kidnapped Thursday from their residence in Bir Hassan area in Beirut and taken to an unknown destination. The three men were known to be activists against Bashar Assad’s regime.

Zahra said he will ask the concerned ministries and the security forces leaders about the reasons behind the failure to address the abductions of Syrian opposition figures, during sessions held by both the parliamentary defense and security committee and the Human Rights committee.
