Bassil launches first solar field to produce power

Caretaker Energy and Water Minister, Gebran Bassil launched on Tuesday the first solar field for producing electricity at a capacity of one megawatt.

Bassil delivered a speech during the inauguration ceremony, whereby he highlighted the importance of the project, especially since "it will pave the way for merging a new form of partnership between both the public and the private sector."
