Speaker Berri meets MPS, tackles electoral draft law

Speaker Nabih Berri held on Thursday deliberations over the electoral draft law with MPs Akram Chouhayeb, Georges Adwan and Robert Ghanem.

Talks also featured high on the results of the parliamentary communication committee's latest sessions.

The Parliamentary Communication Committee held on Tuesday its third meeting in an attempt to reach an agreement over a new electoral law.

The meeting was headed by MP Robert Ghanem and attended by MPs George Adwan, Sami Gemayel, Ahmad Fatfat, Akram Chouhayeb, Alain Aoun, Ali Bazzi, Ali Fayyad, Hagop Pakradounian and Serge Torsarkissian.
