UNIFIL spokesperson Andrea Tenenti confirmed in a statement that, as part of its regular activities under U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701 and in close coordination with the Lebanese Army, UNIFIL forces discovered a vast network of fortified tunnels in the vicinity of the towns of Tayr Harfa, Zibqin, and Naqoura.

The network included several hideouts, artillery pieces, multiple rocket launchers, as well as hundreds of shells and rockets, anti-tank mines, and other explosive devices.
