Palestinian refugees threaten to occupy the UNRWA office

Representatives of the Palestinian Popular Committees in the Beddawi refugee camp resolved a dispute that erupted on Friday in front of the Director's office of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency services.

In the details, a number of displaced Palestinians from Syria threatened to occupy the UNRWA office as well as the UNRWA schools if the agency fails to secure shelter and rent allowances for them.

Protesters said that they are facing the threat of eviction should they fail to pay their rent adding that the UNRWA "did not bear its minimum duties in their regard".
