PM Salam hails UK, Canada, Australia for recognizing Palestine

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam praised the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia for their historic move to recognize the State of Palestine.

Speaking on X, Salam said the decision underscores that there can be no lasting solution or stability in the region without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, in line with the Arab Peace Initiative adopted at the Beirut Summit in 2002.
