Lebanese army chief visits Qatar to boost military cooperation

Lebanese Army Commander General Rodolph Haykal began a two-day visit to Qatar aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Lebanese and Qatari armed forces amid current challenges.

Haykal met with Qatar’s prime minister, who reaffirmed Doha’s continued support for Lebanon’s state institutions, its army, and its people.

The army chief thanked Qatar for its unconditional backing and assistance across various levels.
