Lebanese President, Interior Minister discuss preparations for upcoming parliamentary elections

Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun met with Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar to review ongoing preparations across the ministry’s departments for holding the parliamentary elections on schedule next May.

Al-Hajjar affirmed that the ministry is fully prepared to carry out the electoral process “under the best conditions, with complete neutrality and transparency.”

The meeting also addressed the country’s security situation in light of recent developments.
