REPORT: Two Lebanese fighters killed in Syria's Al-Qusayr

Contacts were lost on Thursday with a group of persons from Tripoli's Donieh village after leaving Tripoli to fight in the Syrian town of Al-Qusayr.

In this context, sources in the Syrian opposition asserted that a group comprised of 20, coming from Tripoli and Donieh arrived to Al-Qusayr in Syria.

Sources also noted that these persons are fighting in the aforementioned town, adding that one person identified as Houssam Mansour was killed in the violence.

Later, sources told LBCI that Lebanese national Hani Barakat, hailing from Tripoli's al-Kobbah region, was also killed in the battles in Al-Qusayr.

On April 2nd, Imam of Bilal bin Rabah mosque Sheikh Ahmad Al Assir confirmed to LBCI the presence of armed groups affiliated with him participating in fighting taking place in Al-Qusayr, refusing to reveal the exact number of these militants.
