Israeli army claims it struck Hezbollah launch sites in South Lebanon

The Israeli army claimed it carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah launch sites in several areas of southern Lebanon, according to a post by Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee on X.

Adraee said the strikes targeted multiple launch positions and resulted in the destruction of military buildings and additional infrastructure that he described as having been used by Hezbollah fighters in recent weeks.

He added that the presence of the targeted launch sites constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

Adraee said the Israeli army would continue operating to ''remove what it considers threats to Israel'' and to prevent what he described as ''Hezbollah’s attempts to rebuild its military capabilities.''
