Central Security Council to intensify security efforts to control incidents

The Central Security Council took a series of decisions aimed at intensifying the security efforts needed to control and reduce scattered security incidents, especially looting and robbery.

The council convened under the chairmanship of Interior Minister Marwan Charbel and announced that it will complete its earlier decision and withdraw the remaining bodyguards of political and judicial figures that are not included in decree number 2512 from 14/7/2009 which organizes the personal protection of prominent figures.

The Council also took an array of security decisions that remained undisclosed.
