PM-Designate Salam refuses to set deadline for announcing his cabinet

Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam held a meeting on Sunday at his residence in Msaytbeh with a delegation headed by the President of the Association of Insurance Companies, Asaad Mirza, whereby he stressed that he seeks a national unity government, the State-run National News Agency reported.
In the details, Salam refused to set a deadline for announcing his cabinet, noting that consultations are underway with Lebanese political parties.

PM-Designate Salam also stressed that he remains open to suggestions, adding that his government will oversee the upcoming parliamentary elections.
