Israeli army claims it struck Hezbollah site in southern Lebanon, targets infrastructure in Beqaa

The Israeli army said it carried out an air strike on a building in the Bir El Sanasel area of southern Lebanon, claiming it was being used by Hezbollah members as a site for producing military equipment.

In a post on X, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the strike targeted a structure where Hezbollah operatives had been active in recent weeks, alleging that the location served as a facility for manufacturing what he described as “means of combat.”

According to the statement, the Israeli military had been monitoring activities at the site and considered them a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

In a separate strike, Adraee said Israeli forces also targeted what he described as Hezbollah military infrastructure in Beqaa.

The Israeli army claimed that the activities at the targeted locations posed a 'threat' to Israel, adding that it would continue operations to ''counter what it considers security risks.''
